Meet Our Board of Directors

The Roots Behind Revolutionary Harvest.

“Entrepreneurship is not merely about starting a business. It is about developing the agency to recognize possibility, solve problems, create value, and move through the world with the confidence to shape what comes next. Young people need access to that language early.

K–12 education cannot prepare students only to enter existing systems. It must also equip them to create, improve, and build. College access, workforce development, and career pathways remain essential, but they are incomplete without entrepreneurial development.

Too often, young people are taught how to survive within structures they did not design. Entrepreneurship gives them the tools to become architects of opportunity.

At Sown Emancipation, we are not simply preparing young people for college or the workforce. We are cultivating their agency to create, solve, build, and transform possibility into opportunity.”
